Breast Augmentation
A woman’s self-confidence can be diminished by breasts that are too small in proportion to her body. Augmentations are performed under general anesthesia and take one to two hours to complete. Breast implant type, size, placement, and incision location are all determined based on the needs of the patient. During the procedure, a careful incision is made in an inconspicuous spot, like the armpit, lower breast crease, or around the nipple. The surgeon slips implants in either below or above the chest muscle and then carefully fills them with saline (salt water). Once proper volume has been achieved, the incision is sutured closed. The healing time is generally three to six weeks, though patients may experience sensitivity, soreness, swelling, and sometimes decreased nipple sensation before their new bust has fully healed.

Breast Lift
