Tummy Tuck
The abdomen is a troublesome area for many. It can prove resistant to exercise, leading many people to have a stubborn reservoir of fat despite their best efforts. Additionally, pregnancy stretches and weakens the abdominal muscles, making a “pouch” out of a formerly flat stomach. Fortunately, an abdominoplasty –- also known as a tummy tuck -- can correct a protruding abdomen that hasn’t responded to exercise, has weakened muscles from pregnancy, or has sagging skin from weight loss or pregnancy.
A tummy tuck is ideal for men and women of normal weight who have loose skin, excess fat, or weakened muscles in the abdominal region. It is not optimal for those who plan on losing weight or having a baby after surgery; in those cases, patients should carefully consult with Dr. Choi and discuss which procedure, if any, is best for them.
Tummy tucks are performed through an incision made above the pubic area, usually low enough to be concealed by a swimsuit. In some cases, another incision will be needed above the belly button. Excess fat and skin are removed, and abdominal muscles are tightened – creating a smoother, tighter abdomen and a sleeker midsection contour.
Depending on your needs, Dr. Choi may recommend a full tummy tuck or a mini tummy tuck. A mini tummy tuck can accomplish the desires of patients who have only a small amount of excess skin hanging from the abdomen. It requires a smaller incision than a full tummy tuck.
Both a full and a mini tummy tuck can be combined with liposuction for more pronounced results. Simply tightening the abdominal skin and muscles, however, can have a dramatic effect on those who have worked to no avail to tighten and slim their abdominal region or who are suffering the effects of pregnancy or weight loss on the abdomen’s skin and muscles.
Rhinoplasty
Are you self-conscious about your nose? If so, rhinoplasty may be the answer. Rhinoplasty is a popular surgery that can remove a bump in your nose, correct a wide tip, eliminate crookedness, improve breathing problems, or make your nose smaller, larger, shorter, or longer. It can even adjust the width or position of the nostrils, or the angle between your nose and upper lip. Whatever concerns you may have with your nose, Dr. Choi will work with you to achieve your goals.
Even making a subtle change in the appearance of the nose can go a long way in balancing the features of a person’s face. The ideal nose isn’t noticed, putting the attention instead on your beautiful skin or eyes. During the surgery, which is done under general or local anesthesia, Dr. Choi makes incisions inside or along the rims of the nostrils, making the resulting scars inconspicuous. Swelling and discomfort can occur after the surgery, but generally fade within a week, and complete recovery comes within a month – revealing your newly refined nose.

Facelift
With time, the underlying structures that support the face tend to slacken, creating jowls and face and neck wrinkles. This process can be worsened by sun exposure, stress, and other factors. However, a facelift can erase these signs of time and gravity, restoring a youthful, natural appearance. A facelift minimizes wrinkles, eliminates jowls, and turns back the clock.
These days, facelift surgery has advanced to the point where scars from the procedure are nearly invisible and patients’ faces are left looking younger without having a “pulled” look. During the procedure, Dr. Choi will make an incision around the hairline and the ears. He will trim away excess skin and smooth the remaining skin, redraping it and suturing it into place. While swelling, tightness, numbness, and bruising can occur, these symptoms generally disappear within a few weeks. The result is tighter skin and facial muscles and a face that looks years younger.
Facelift surgery can be combined with eyelid or other surgery for more dramatic results. By itself, however, facelift surgery can eliminate up to 10 years from a person’s appearance and bring about a subtle, youthful change.
Eyelid Surgery
As we age, our eyelids can sag and become heavy-looking. In extreme cases, they may even obstruct vision. Under-eye bags also result from age and can make us appear sad or tired. Eyelid surgery corrects these problems by removing excess fat and skin from the upper eyelids and below the eyes – restoring a youthful, vibrant appearance and making you look well-rested and alert, not tired or angry. The goal is to create a natural look and reduce the puffiness around the eyes brought on by age and gravity.
Dr. Choi performs the procedure by altering the top or bottom eyelids, or both, depending on your needs. An incision is made in the upper-eye crease or in the lower lash line in such a way as to be well-hidden. Excess skin and fat are excised, restoring a proper shape and appearance to the eyelids. The incisions are closed once the proper amount of fat has been removed and often heal without a trace. The result is a smoother, younger-looking eye area.
A more specific surgery, called canthopexy, is done to correct sagging in the lower lid caused by previous surgery or aging. Canthopexy also helps to correct sagging in the outer corner of the eye.

Cheek Implants
Why should a select few people have a monopoly on high, shapely cheekbones? Hollow, undefined cheeks or sunken cheekbones can give your face a gaunt, aged appearance. Customized cheek implants can help contour your cheeks into the ideal shape, giving you a more attractive, youthful-looking face.
Cheek implants are placed directly on top of the cheek bone or a little below it, based on the patient’s needs. During the surgery, Dr. Choi may adjust the size, shape, or position of the implant based on what would be best for the patient’s facial features. The implant is undetectable once healed, as it becomes part of the bone structure through sutures or surgical screws.

Chin Implants

Forehead Lift (Brow Lift)
While a facelift provides a lift for the bottom third of your face, a forehead lift smoothes out the top third. Arm Lift
